My name is Mrs. Theresa Lee and I am delighted to have been selected to be a part of your children’s lives. This is my second year in the district, but I am certainly not new to teaching! My background comes primarily from the NYC school system, having taught upper elementary for many years. I have earned my Masters of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Teachers College, Columbia University in NYC. I am certified in both New York and New Jersey, and have excellent training and professional development under my belt.
I am confident that I will live up to your expectations, but if ever there is a question, concern, update, or problem, I am always available for a sit-down or just a simple chat. I foster mutual respect among the students, as well as for all others in their lives – including adults! I will teach our children to love and respect learning (even if it requires an innocent bribe now and again – hee, hee!). The fact of the matter is, I’m a fun-loving kind of lady, and I love to have fun in school too. And not to mention, I love kids! I love them so much I had two of my own, Jared, age 5, and Lucas, age 3. They keep me quite busy at home, but with the wonderful support of my husband, we tag-team them, and continue to whip them into shape (or do they whip us into shape? I can't always remember, I'm so tired all the time-HELP!).
